How this log works

Each entry is dated, anchored at a permanent link, and written in English — the log is the series' single-path record and keeps to one language, while every thesis and note publishes in full English and Turkish editions. Publication events sit here alongside the ledger readings behind them, so the record of what was claimed and the record of what was measured share one timeline. No entry on this page is ever emailed.

Entries

  1. Thesis 03, The Next Corpus Is Behind Closed Doors, is published, with its Turkish edition Sıradaki Korpus Kapalı Kapılar Ardında. Six signals open with it — R03.1 to R03.6, covering salvage lot count, archive amortization, the realised-payment disclosure gap, channel crossing, agent-exhaust disclosure and sell-side productization — and they form the seventh cluster on the Signal Ledger, supply; the family nets zero, so the whole-ledger score stays at +1. Four dated calls are staked, taking open staked calls from five to nine, and the first two are graded on their own dates — 15 November 2026 and 30 November 2026 — rather than at the October Scorecard, which stays on its early date and grades nothing. The data deals registry opens as the fifth registry behind the ledger, five rows across four channels — acqui-data, salvage, brokerage and licensing — each carrying its use restriction as a column beside its price rather than as a footnote. The verdict registry gains a sixth published row: Ilya Sutskever's December 2024 peak-data claim, adjudicated Refine. MEASURED

  2. Stripe and OpenRouter announce the acquisition, each on its own channel — Stripe's newsroom and OpenRouter's blog — with no terms disclosed. Note 01's first falsifier resolves early on direction and stays open on price: the transaction is real, and the $7bn+ remains a single press report unconfirmed by either company. The agent M&A registry row moves from reported agreement to announced, with its price class unchanged at press-reported floor; the October Scorecard grades the split result. MEASURED

  3. Thesis 02, The Multiplayer Surface Is Free. Coordination Capital Is Not, is published, with its Turkish edition Çok Oyunculu Yüzey Bedava. Koordinasyon Sermayesi Değil. Five new signals open with it — R02.1 to R02.5, covering harness multiplayer parity, non-seat agent revenue, the price of the shared agent surface, cross-vendor agent invocation and frontier-lab annexation of canonical state — and three dated calls are staked, resolving on 31 December 2027 and 30 June 2028. Three Thesis 01 signals take new readings and R01.4 is re-scored from +1 to 0 with its reasoning printed in the row. The verdict registry goes live as the fourth registry behind the Signal Ledger, and the pricing model registry grows from 13 rendered rows to 35. MEASURED

  4. Note 03, Okta–Permiso: The Authority Layer Is Bought Before It Has a Price, is published, with its Turkish twin at Okta–Permiso: Yetki Katmanı Fiyatlanmadan Satın Alınıyor. It reads Okta's definitive agreement of 30 July 2026 to buy Permiso — press-reported at just under $200m, published by neither party, close expected in Okta's fiscal third quarter ending 31 October 2026 — and reads the price of the layer's one filed transaction beside it: CrowdStrike–SGNL, $637.1m in total consideration transferred, 88% of it goodwill, completed 20 February 2026. Signal R01.5's absorption side moves from six transactions to seven on the Permiso agreement and the score stays at −1; the independence side raised roughly $370m across four rounds in seventeen days and has still never disclosed the revenue figure the test can read. MEASURED

  5. Note 02, Google–Spirit: The First Public Price on a Company's Memory, is published, with its Turkish twin at Google–Spirit: Bir Şirketin Hafızasına Konulan İlk Kamusal Fiyat. It reads the auction filed in Spirit Airlines' chapter 11 on 14 August 2026, at which Google LLC was named successful bidder for the airline's deidentified operational and employment data at $10,000,000, with Mercor.io alternate at $7.5 million. The sale is contested: the flight attendants' union AFA-CWA filed a limited objection on the evening of 18 August 2026, and the debtors have adjourned the sale hearing from 19 August to 11:00 a.m. on 9 September 2026 — no court has approved the transfer and, by the union's account, no data has moved. The note's claim rests on the bid itself rather than on the outcome: the price is now public whatever the court decides. MEASURED

  6. The site goes live. The opening surfaces: the root page, Thesis 01, the Signal Ledger, Note 01 and this log — thesis, ledger and note each in full English and Turkish editions. MEASURED

  7. Note 01, Stripe–OpenRouter: The Rail Buys the Router, is published, with its Turkish twin at Stripe–OpenRouter: Ray, Yönlendiriciyi Satın Alıyor. It reads Bloomberg's report of 16 August 2026 that Stripe is nearing a deal to buy OpenRouter for more than $7bn — a transaction that was still press-reported only on 18 August 2026, with Stripe declining to comment on rumour or speculation and OpenRouter declining to comment. MEASURED

  8. Note 01's reading is appended to the ledger and signal R01.5, platform bundling, stays at −1: a payments rail buying a model-routing rail sits outside that signal's two-sided test, so the transaction is recorded as registry detail rather than a score move. The three registries behind the ledger — outcome prices, pricing models and agent acquisitions — are rendered on the Signal Ledger and its Turkish edition, Sinyal Defteri, with their row counts and disclosure rules; the working files behind them stay private. INFERENCE

  9. Signal R01.1, checkout share of agentic activity, opens at −1. HUMAN Security's State of Agentic Traffic puts checkout at 2.34% of agentic activity for June 2026, in the edition published 6 July 2026, against 2.3% in December 2025, 3.16% in April and 2.4% in May: flat to down across four readings. Confirms above 5% by Q2 2027, weakens if still under 3%. MEASURED

  10. Signal R01.2, adoption of outcome-based pricing, opens at +1. ICONIQ's State of AI puts the share of AI builders using outcome-based pricing at 23% for Q2 2026, against 2% in Q2 2025 and 18% in Q4 2025 (N=297); 37% of respondents plan a pricing-model change within a year. Reading dated 31 July 2026, and the unit is ICONIQ's: it measures the share of builders, not the share of contracts. MEASURED

  11. Signal R01.5, platform bundling, opens at −1. Inside the two-sided test's scope, absorption leads independence 6–1: CrowdStrike/SGNL completed 20 February 2026, Zendesk/Forethought completed 26 March 2026, Cisco/Astrix and SailPoint/Entro both completed 29 June 2026, Cisco/WideField Security completed 31 July 2026 with no price disclosed by any party, and Salesforce/Fin ($3.6bn, announced 15 June 2026) is pending close; on the independence side Neo Security left stealth on 20 July 2026 with $100m raised. Two of the six went to the same acquirer. No independent authority or assurance vendor had publicly disclosed $100m+ ARR as of 17 August 2026 — an absence of evidence, recorded as one. MEASURED

  12. Signal R01.6, energy elasticity, opens at +1. Gartner's forecast of 10 August 2026 puts AI-optimized IaaS spending at $42.3bn for 2026 (+96% year over year), with inference spend at $23.3bn overtaking training's $19.0bn for the first time: 55% of the category in 2026, forecast at 59% for 2027. An annual source, scored once a year. FORECAST

  13. Thesis 01 — The Machine-Mediated Economy is published, with its Turkish edition Makine Aracılı Ekonomi. Machine-side demand discovery has arrived; machine-side transaction has not — the thesis argues the priced opportunity sits in that gap. Six signals, two dated staked calls and three registries open with it. MEASURED
